How does one react when the father reveals a secret so terrifying that one finds it hard not to kill him? I do not wish to destroy this seemingly happy family. And my mistress seems oh so eager to forget what she has been told. Appearently the father found it save to tell her the rest of his secret. It was not quite what she had expected, but what else is to espected from a happily married man. Now she is torn apart because she loves him just as much as before, but there seems to be hatred in her eyes whenever she looks at him. And he knows. He has confronted her several times, asking her if she has any questions or there is something about what he has told her that she doesn't understand. She wants to yell at him, beat him, make him feel as horrible as she does. Well, as far as I'm concerned, I can't see why she should feel bad. Perhaps she likes to feel important and misunderstood.
And so they are back, sliding slowly back into their boring routines. My mistress' grand-father is getting better, though they don't dare hope for a full recovery. That would be a miracle. so my mistress still walks around, wating for him to drop dead. Meanwhile, everyone else keeps saying he's getting better and better. They are fooling no one but temselves.
I can't wait to get out of here.
